IGNORE the two turnoff for New Quay the second being at the junction at Synod Inn after this junction there is a turning on your right about 1/2 a mile for Llwyndafydd and Cwmtydu follow lane to Cwmtydu, If you get to a place called Plwmp you have gone too far.

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A40 heading towards Carmarthen at the first island on the outskirts of Carmarthen follow signs for Hospital at the 4th island take the A485 towards Lampeter & New Quay. Keep on this road until you reach the junction for the A487 Cardigan - Aberystwyth road, turn left towards Cardigan about 1/2 Mile you will see the 1st turning right to Llwyndafydd & Cwmtydu follow signs to Cwmtydu.

 The room and food were excellent. The beach which is in a small cove was just a few steps down the road. On the last two of our visits there have been seal pups born on the beach.
